Prairie Vista Golf Course: Designed by Roger Packard and opened in 1991, Prairie Vista is an American Contemporary Style course spanning 6,745 yards from the Championship Tees. It features Bentgrass tees, greens, and fairways with water hazards on 16 of the 18 holes. The course has earned a USGA Rating of 72.2 and a Slope Rating of 129. Its amenities include large practice greens for putting and chipping (with an embedded sand bunker), and a sizable grass driving range—making it suitable for all skill levels. Prairie Vista has hosted the NCAA Division I Women's East Regional in 1997 and has been the site for the Illinois High School Association's Class A Boys State Championship since 1993. The Den at Fox Creek: Opened in 1997 as Bloomington’s third golf course, The Den at Fox Creek is an Arnold Palmer Signature layout measuring 6,926 yards from the Palmer Tees. With USGA Course Ratings of 72.9 and a Slope Rating of 128, it offers a Scottish Links Style design characterized by wide fairways bordered by native Wild Prairie grasses and lined with strategically placed sand traps on 131 holes. Water hazards are present on half of the course’s holes. The facility includes a large practice putting green, chipping green with bunker, and a substantial grass driving range with multiple target greens. Its golf shop provides discounted equipment and apparel. Notably, it serves as the host for the Illinois High School Association's Class AA Boys State Championships and is renowned for Palmer's opening round score of 74—challenging players to beat that performance.
